“Sydney Harbour Investment Partners (SHIP) is bringing together firms with the necessary financial resources, construction expertise and logistical support skills to fast-track this project.”

– port developer Barry Sheehy

Sydney Harbour Investment Partners (SHIP) was formed specifically to assemble the business consortium required to develop the deep-water NOVAPORTE™ Mega-Terminal in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Our aim is to bring together firms with the necessary financial resources, construction expertise and logistical support skills to fast-track this project. The group we have assembled includes port operators, shippers and partners to design, construct and operate NOVAPORTE™ as the most efficient, technologically advanced port in North America. In doing so, we will invigorate Canada’s Atlantic Gateway, leverage the nation’s Free Trade Agreement with Europe (CETA) and begin to transform transportation patterns in eastern North America.
